COMING SOON - E-RECEPTION
We appreciate at busy periods, it can be difficult to get through on the phone quickly or frustrating to be held in a queue. Look out for our new E-Reception Service to allow you to contact our receptionists online.
eReception is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to enable patients to contact the practice. We would normally reply to you by text, e-mail, or telephone with a resolution to your enquiry. Weekend submissions will be dealt with on a Monday. Click here to access eReception.
Keep your information with us up-to-date
Increasingly we will be using mobile phones and email addresses to contact our patients to arrange chronic disease review and to communicate test results. We encourage patients to ensure that their contact details registered with us are up to date
Open Bloods clinics
We are now offering Open Blood clinics on a Wednesday and Friday Mornings from 8am to 11:30am. If the Doctor has asked you to have a blood test then you can just turn up on the Wednesday or Friday morning, give your name to Reception and then sit and wait, you will be called in as quickly as possible. This will avoid having to wait to find a suitable appointment slot during the week. You can still book an appointment at other times if you can't attend the open clinics.
On the Day Appointments
In response to comments from patients, from 1st July we will be opening all of the 'On the day' appointment slots at 8:30am, so there will be no need to call back at 2pm for an afternoon appointment. Please be aware that these appointments will go very quickly and the phones will be very busy at 8:30am. If you have the option to book your appointment online, please use this option where possible to avoid disappointment.
Accessible Information Standards
The accessible information standard aims to make sure that disabled people have access to information in a way they can understand and any communication support needs they may have. This includes information in different formats, such as Large print, easy read, via email or letter. In addition we can support people's communication needs by offering support from British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters, deafblind manual interpreters or an advocate. Please let us know if you have any special communication needs so we can make sure we can meet your needs.
